Monstr Software Group is a creative association of software authors-developers who come together in the aim to design and create up to date methods and tools for flight data recorders (FDR) and cockpit voice recorders (CVR), well known as “black boxes”, data processing and analysis. The team was formed over several decades, starting from the end of the 1980s on the basis of the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation, which is currently reorganized into the National Aviation University (NAU).

In 2001 the first Software Copyright Certificates were received and by 2013 was created their own enterprise – Monstr Software Group LLC, to which all the rights for the commercial use of the authors' developments were transferred.

The main activity of the Monstr Software Group is the development, licenses distribution and technical support of software for processing, analyzing, and reporting on FDR and CVR data while they are installed in the aircraft. Our Products and Solutions can be used as a part of Flight Data Analysis (FDA) program, also known as Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), and as powerful analytic tool during aircraft incidents and accidents investigations.
